Technical Issues : User interface not loading correctly - Not just a Learning Management System (LMS)

This problem is characterised by:

User interface - no button bar - no content

This problem was solved by updating the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). This problem has been experienced on Microsoft Windows XP SP2 running Internet Explorer Version 6 with the installed JRE from J2SE version 1.5.0.02. When the interface is working correctly it looks like:

Important Notes

Before installing the latest JRE, uninstall any existing JRE installations (the could be labeled JRE, SDK, J2SE). There has been bugs with previous versions of the JRE not uninstalling correctly.
